RAPID CITY ---- The South Dakota School of Mines men's golf program is not only excelling on the academic front --- earning the top team Grade Point Average (GPA) in the Hardrocker athletics department (3.49) --- it also is developing and solidifying its roster with the addition of two new recruits for the 2010-11 season.

SD Mines earns 9 Scholar Team awards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The South Dakota School of Mines and Hardrocker student-athletes keep setting the "academic bar" a little higher each season as nine of the 10 athletic programs were named as a 2009-10 NAIA Scholar Athlete Team which was announced Tuesday by the NAIA.

Lady 'Rocker hoops team named to WBCA Top 25 Honor Roll

ATLANTA , Ga.--- The South Dakota School of Mines women's basketball team has achieved another outstanding milestone for its program by being named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 2009-10 Top 25 Team Honor Roll. The Lady Hardrockers registered at No. 15 in the NAIA division out of a field of 300 institutions.

LEXINGTON, Ky.- Even though the South Dakota School of Mines women's volleyball team is a couple weeks away from starting the 2010 season, the Lady Hardrockers are still getting recognition from last season's success --- this time earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2009-10 school year.

New Life Academy football standout and recent graduate Adam Krause started hooking up computers and downloading software in the second grade.
