RAPID CITY --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's basketball program finished its final camp of the summer Wednesday at the King Center on the campus of South Dakota School of Mines.
The Hardrockers held two team camps, a three-on-three tournament, the Hardwood Classic basketball tournament and an individual skills camp in the past four months. The SDM men's basketball team had approximately 1,400 potential students and recruits attend the Hardrocker camps this year.
The team camps and hoops tournaments brought basketball players from several surrounding states in competition against one another while the individual skills camp taught campers fundamental basketball skills. They also received individual instruction and a personal breakdown and analysis of their talents.
The Hardrocker men's basketball season begins in late October when SD Mines heads to Spearfish for the Perkins Classic Oct. 29 and 30.
